Leading an experimental life as a digital nomad, I started traveling in 2007 while choosing to shuttle between Goa and Mumbai as 'home'. An epic life-changing trip to South America an year later gave birth to this blog, Exotic Gringo.
12 hours agoby exoticgringoI'm in love with this magnificent creation of art at the newest hotspot in #Bangkok , #IconSIAM This installation is the centerpiece of a rice economy themed pavilion that pays homage to the Goddess of rice, Mae Phosop and every hour on the clock, the fountain comes alive with patterns that are nothing short of spellbinding! Don't miss the interactive plaque nearby, which tells the story of how precious and revered rice is to the people of Thailand and how every single grain is handled with grateful conscience. #travel#Bangkok#Thailand#travelblogger#ExoticGringoInThailand#art#IconSIAM#urbanart
2 days agoby exoticgringoBangkok always awes me as a fantastic metropolis that I wish Mumbai could be like some day. The art and culture scene here could rival European and American ones, or even set a precedent for them to follow! I didn't know that the Bangkok Biennale was on across the city, so walking in to public spaces with some inspiring, engaging and remarkable pieces of art was the stuff of serendipity for the unplanned traveler that I am. #travel#Bangkok#Thailand#travelblogger#ExoticGringoInThailand#bangkokbiennial#bkkbiennale2018
4 days agoby exoticgringoLunch today was my favorite Thai dish of all time: tom kha gai, at one of my ever favorite places to eat in Bangkok, Mango Tree on the River (Yodpiman) which offers this stunning view of the Chao Phraya River and Wat Arun temple. A late lunch post 3:30 pm also rewarded me with the entire space to myself!! #travel#Bangkok#Thailand#travelblogger#ExoticGringoInThailand
