This Saturday, i’m off to Germany for a 5-day trip as a guest of Germany Tourism! i’ll be visiting Frankfurt, Rüdesheim and Berlin – a city i’ve heard so many good things about.
Here’s my agenda.
1. Discover Germany’s purty Christmas markets, local food and culture
2. Practice my German conversation skills (really looking forward!)
3. Have at least 1 vegetarian meal every day – ideally vegan.
If YOU have tips / ideas or challenges for me, i’d love to know your thoughts 🙂
Prost und bis bald, Deutschland!

completely agree with you! i spent less than 48 hours in Berlin, but it was enough to make me fall in love with it. even promised the immigration officer that i’ll be back soon! 😉

my first big (and life changing) trip happened in 2008, to South America. this was prompted by a dear friend who convinced me to start living a bit for myself, after years of non-stop work and managing some family responsibilities early on.
so when the time was right, i didn’t hold back and gave myself the best i could, and then kept pushing my limits…
that also shaped the fabric of my personality in a great way. the inspiration was a ton of photos i had stuck on the wall from all over the world. together with a world map, it’s just perfect.
