Festa de Diu – Asia’s Longest Beach Festival

Festa De Diu is pegged to be ‘the longest beach festival in Asia’, spanning across three months, from December 2015 to February 2016. With concerts, carnivals, jam sessions and more than 300 artists such as Shreya Ghosal, Vir Das, Indian Ocean and Milind Soman set to perform, this beach festival is aiming to be the epitome of fun and relaxation.

Personally, i’m awed by the presentation and the festival teaser video – and seriously considering heading to Diu during this festival, especially since i’ve never been here before.

Quick Tips for planning your Diu trip

• Remember that Diu and Daman are NOT nearby. This is a common mistake – consult Google Maps when in doubt 😉
• If you book in advance, you can get some great deals on flights and stay for Diu
• Ping Diu Tourism on Twitter if you have any doubts or need any further information.
• While the festival site has some great luxury tent stay options, you could also check the official Diu Tourism website for other budget options.
