Kabir Bedi’s Trinidad & Tobago itinerary

Acclaimed Indian actor, Kabir Bedi is in Trinidad & Tobago for the World Premiere of his latest film Bazodee. The world premiere of the film Bazodee took place at MovieTowne, Port of Spain, yesterday at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival with live appearances from the stars of the film, including Kabir Bedi , Trinidad-born/UK-based actor Valmike Rampersad and the king of soca, Machel Montano.

Trinidad + Tobago Film Festival (TTFF) is currently on from 15–29 September. A hot-ticket event, the TTFF was voted one of the 25 coolest film festivals in the world by MovieMaker Magazine in 2014, and one of the top ten unmissable events in the Caribbean, by CultureTrip.com in 2015.

Kabir is making the most of his time by visiting popular tourist destinations and attractions of this stunning twin-island destination.

Kabir’s itinerary included…

1. Temple by the Sea – A well-known site of worship for Hindus and a tourist attraction, the Waterloo temple was built by Seiwdass Sadhu, an indentured labourer who came to Trinidad in early 1900’s.
2. Hanuman Murti – Standing 85 feet high, the Hanuman Murthi is one of the most religious site of Trinidad and known as the tallest murthi outside India.
3. Caroni Bird Sanctuary – An amazing lagoon that extends itself south of Port of Spain along the western shoreline of Trinidad.
4. Maracus Beach – One of the most well-known beaches in the island of Trinidad and considered by some to be the most beautiful beach of its size located closest to the capital city. One of the most famous aspects of Maracas Beach are the dozen Bake and Shark huts.
5. Fort George – Situated on the hills to the North of St. James overlooking the Gulf of Paria, Fort George is the best destination for one of the most spectacular views of Port of Spain and the sea.

Visas for Indian travelers

Because of historical ties and/or bilateral agreements between Trinidad and Tobago with India, citizens of India do not need visas to travel to the twin islands. However, one must procure a UK or a USA visa in order to transit from the respective ports for flights into Trinidad & Tobago.
